A Servant to You, King

 So many times I had nothing

And no, nowhere to go

My soul was lost

All I needed was a friend

I was hurting and alone

 

Then You came

And lended me Your hand

And you brought me through the cold

You saved me

And placed me in Your kingdom

And now you call me your own

 

I want to be

A servant to You, King

Lay down my life, and give You everything

Wherever You lead me

I would walk upon the earth, or sail upon the sea

 

You have been my reward

Your refreshing touch sets me free

My soul is joyed

Just to have You as my friend

To do Your will has become my dream

 

In Your presence

Your love amazes me

You give me fullness of joy

Wings like an eagle

Now I’ll fly with You my Lord
