Standing Through the Storm

 

Right now I feel like I’m weak

I’m running through the courses

I need You to be my Strength

There are no other sources

 

I feel Your presence move

In all my troubled times

Even in my toughest hour

You strengthen all my mind

 

I call upon Your name

Deliver me now, Lord Jesus

I call upon Your truth

Send mercy to redeem me

 

Let the heavens declare

What You will do

Let men sing praise

To You, and only You

 

Not by might, nor by power

Will I take this battle on

But through the power of the Lord

I will be standing through the storm

 

No matter how long

It takes to overcome

No matter how strong

The battle will become

I know You’re my Deliverer

My greatest joy and peace

 

And when the fire heats to blazing

I’ll know You’re in control

Just keep me, Lord, in Your hand

Please don’t let me go

 

So one more time I’ll praise Your name

And give You all the glory

And when this ends, I will proclaim

There’s a new beginning to this story
