The Covering Grace

What I don’t know
I need to not know
What You show me
Is what You show me
I walk this path 
Holding on
Clinging to the covering grace 
I see what moves me
I see what moves You
Holding on to peace
That lives
And knowing glory
Beholds my purpose
I find myself in Your covering grace 
I look outward
I peer inward
I hold on to a dream of hope
But walking hand in hand with You
I sing about Your covering grace 
I fell down
I fell out
You picked me up
And gave me vision
I hold on to a truth that heals
Rejoicing in Your covering grace 
So hear me not
Or hear me so
My heart will not 
From Your love go
I will walk on faithfully
In the covering grace
Because eternal moments
Shape my place
I’m coming closer
Feeling it real
I hold on to Your mercy revealed
I’m praising loud
With an eager desire
Your covering grace
Sends me up higher
So when the moment
Needs to be still
I will hold on to
The blessing You give
I’ll lift my hands
To Your embrace
Knowing there’s freedom
In Your covering grace
