Misconception #2

Here we go, misconception #2 about last days:

Those who are left behind after rapture will have to live for God of their own accord- they will not have help from the Holy Spirit

Okay, first of all the Lord promises the Holy Spirit to ALL who ask Him (Luke 11:13) and to ALL who believe (Acts 2:38-39). So there is no way a person won’t be able to have Him. Second, we cannot live for God by our own works. We are saved by grace through faith. Faith comes by hearing; hearing by the word of God (in other words, putting what you hear into practice). The word is given by inspiration of Holy Spirit; and as Jesus said, “the Holy Spirit will bring My word back to your remembrance”. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no conviction. The Holy Spirit convicts world of sin, righteousness, and of judgement. He tells us what is wrong and what not to do; He tells us what is good and what we should do; and He shows us that our choices have consequences. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Now, if anyone DOES NOT HAVE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is NOT HIS. No one can say Jesus is Lord, except by HOLY SPIRIT. 
This can be a great big discussion and I could point out tons of other scriptures, but do you see that this cannot be? What God has done through His Son and by the outpouring of His Holy Spirit is for everyone who believes, not just some.
