Repentance Can Lead to Physical Healing

In the gospels of Christ’s recorded works, there was a time Jesus was preaching in a house and men got up on the roof and let down a paralyzed man for God to heal. Jesus told the man, “your sins are forgiven you.” They marveled and some were even accusing Jesus of blasphemy saying, “who can forgive sins but God alone?” Anyway, Jesus knew their thoughts and then told the man to take up his bed and go home healed. Sometimes hearing God’s words and obeying His commands can lead to physical healing. You see, when we repent of sin, death is atoned for and the spirit of life in Christ Jesus enters in. And sometimes all we need to find our peace and wholeness is to find righteousness with God. Do you need healing tonight? Wondering what you can do to find peace and help? Seek God’s mercy and His heart, and repent of your sins. Give everything in your life to Christ, and take up your cross, deny yourself, and follow Jesus. Jesus is the way to life and resurrection.
