An Adventure of Faith

It’s been an adventure, Lord,
This journey of faith
It’s been a lesson learned, Father,
How You gave me grace
Though I’ve failed and let You go
Let You down and let You know
All my weakness
All my sin
All the ugliness my heart held within
I know You taught me well
You delivered me from hell
You filled me with Your Spirit
And gave me strength to live
This hour is late and I have been mourning
But my rejoicing’s coming
Your light covers me
Your power set me free
And we sing Hallelujah
Forevermore
We praise You, Jesus Christ, our Lord
For though we failed and let You go
You held onto us with hope
And through perils, strife, and pain
Brought us through this adventure of faith
You will forever reign on high
This love You give is worth it all
Let the world know You give
Everything righteous and real
