Don’t Resist God’s Processes

In Mark 4:26-29 Christ speaks about the process of growth. He says in verse 28 that first comes the blade, then the head, and after that the full head of grain. God works in processes. Life is a process. Birth, maturation, finding love, finding purpose- many things involve a process. Salvation, sanctification, and growing stronger in Christ all involve processes. The thing is, many times we want the full head of grain before the blade has been fully formed. God may have given you a vision or maybe you have anticipated all that God has declared in His word. Don’t rush the process- every step in your walk and every moment advancing further is important. There is one path to advancement in Christ- humbly walking with Him and being faithful over what He has given you. He is the Teacher; He is the Master- you can not go further unless you learn from Him. Do you wish to be something He didn’t intend? It is easy to get excited, I know. The perfect place to be is right where He needs you, right where He wants you- abiding in His Spirit and His word. Let patience have its perfect work so that you may be complete, lacking nothing. Then when He is ready, your harvest will come.
