Count the Cost of Your Decisions

Count the cost of your actions and spoken words. Is it worth it to do it or say it? The wages of sin is death. Always. That means any time we break God’s commandments and sin, spiritual death enters in and brings condemnation and separation from God’s glory. The path of a Christian is to fully have the fullness of Christ in them, in their heart and in their mind, because Christ in us is the hope of glory. And God pours out His Spirit in us and the hope He gives us doesn’t disappoint. It’s time for believers in Christ to let go of the weights that so easily beset them. It’s time to get out of the shallow waters and swim out into the deep waters of God’s overflow. It’s time to be fit for the kingdom, putting our hand to the plow and not looking back for the things of this world, the cares of this life, and the deceitfulness of riches. It’s time to take up our cross, deny ourselves, and follow Christ Jesus. A Christian is a Christ follower- not a Christ proclaimer who doesn’t keep God’s commandments. That’s just a hypocrite and a liar. It’s important to believe and know that choices have consequences. We are accountable for what we know and what we have heard and been taught. If we are living and abiding in sin, we are not in fellowship with Christ and God. If we sin, we grieve the Holy Spirit, and it is commanded for us not to grieve or quench the Holy Spirit. So, if the Holy Spirit says no or it’s a sin, according to God’s Word, then it is not a wise decision to disobey the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. The foolish hear the Word of God and don’t keep it. Only those who keep the commandments of God and do the will of God will be justified and able to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
If you’re not right with God right now, heed the Word of God and obey the conviction of the Holy Spirit and repent. Confess your sins and turn away from doing them, and turn wholeheartedly towards following Christ as your Lord and Master. Humble yourself and pray, and seek God’s face until you have made peace through the cross of Christ Jesus. Accept His sacrifice for you and be baptized anew in the waters of cleansing and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. Dedicate yourself to learning the Holy Bible and praying and seeking God daily and worshipping Him in truth and Spirit. Strengthen yourself with believers in Christ who are faithful to actually live the Christian life.
Here is a prayer for you: “Heavenly Father, forgive my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. (Confess the sins you have committed against God and others). Help me to repent of them, to turn wholeheartedly towards You and serve You, and honor and glorify Your Name, and the Name of Your only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit; fill me with Your Holy Spirit and fire, sanctifying my mind and purifying my heart and cleansing my hands, so that I can be the light You created me to be, and help manifest Your kingdom to this world. Lead me and guide me in Your Way Everlasting, always keeping me in Your Word and Your Truth, delivering me from lies and evil and the evil one, and making me everything You need me to be from this day forward throughout eternity. Save me and my loved ones according to Your Will and Righteousness, and be glorified forever, in the Name of Your only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior, forever and ever, thank You, Lord, amen.”
Now be blessed and love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and all your strength. And love your neighbor as yourself, and forgive anyone you need to and try to make peace with them.
