The Tough Stuff

Sometimes life requires the tough stuff
And we don’t always want much
But we have to live and learn
And take what we are served
If we cannot handle it
There’s a Friend that will do all He can with it
And we will continue on
No matter how strong we are
Because although we lose our heart
God keeps us through it all
And we will endure to the end
Because of our Faithful Friend
There’s no ground too big
For the King to move away
If we just sit back and trust Him
Everything will be okay
He’s put everything together
And He knows how to work it out

You’re going to make it
The tough stuff- you will shake it
And you’ll see His awesome face
After we finish this race
So, hold on with all you have
Don’t let your worry be bad
The tough stuff will fade away
And God’s love for you will remain
