The Staples of God

Staples are binding tools- they are used to hold things together, connecting multiple pieces together to make one application for use. Staples are also things like food, shelter, clothing- basic physical necessities that everyone needs to live, and they also hold us together- individually and as a whole. But, the good fruit of the Spirit of God- love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control and kindness- they are God’s true abundant life staples that hold us together. Without these staples, we are bound in sin and bound to death and condemnation. Just as without the physical necessities we cannot endure prosperous lives, without the fruit of the Spirit, we cannot endure and be able to have and keep a prosperous life. So when all these staples are working together and none are missing, a person is truly walking in the liberty of the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ Jesus- and this is where God wants us. So many of us may be missing staples- and things aren’t holding together and your life may be falling apart. It’s time to awaken. It’s time to let go of what rips us apart and tries to destroy us and take hold of the Stapler- our Lord and Savior Jesus. He does His work from start to finish, if we abide in Him. And He keeps us whole as our High Priest, keeping us connected to God. All we have to do is hold on to the hand of the Alpha and Omega, King of kings and Lord of lords, and not let go and let temptation cause us to sin and walk away from Him. Christ is the Life and the Resurrection. Christ is Renewal and Revival, Refreshing and Worth it- because we have tasted and found out sin and the death it brings isn’t worth it. You know you can walk away from sin as much as you can walk away from God. Come back to your Shepherd and Father who loves you and wants to hold you together by Him for the rest of your life. It’s time to connect to God again.
