When God says no or stop doing something, don’t test Him and disobey Him, because He will break you for it. His discipline can be severe, depending on how we dishonor Him. I can tell you right now there isn’t a father on earth who can discipline you like the Almighty. He knows how to make us understand that His commands are to be honored and not played around with. This isn’t a game, and God is a consuming fire. What He does and what He gives us is for our benefit, for our salvation. He doesn’t play with His Word. What He says, He means. And He will let us become broken until we realize what we are doing isn’t going to work until we do like He asks. He doesn’t want to hurt us. He didn’t create us to hate us. But, He’s no pushover that will take disobedience lightly, either. He wants us to succeed. And He knows how everything needs to be done. He is the Master Architect, the Master Designer- He knows how things need to operate. He is Sovereign Lord, He doesn’t have anyone that can contest Him. He has got it, friend, He is absolutely in control. The universe moves with His power. He has maintained it since He made it, and He forever will. But, He’s is merciful. He will forgive you, if you truly want Him. There’s no need to think there’s no hope, that He can’t forgive you. You just need to humbly submit to God and repent. He’s not about to throw you away because you made some mistakes, because we all learn from mistakes. We aren’t masters. We are learners. And God knows everything doesn’t always go according to how we think it should have went. Things go awry sometimes. Sometimes, in ways we can’t control. God gets it. Don’t give up because God is disciplining you. He only wants us to learn the severity of keeping His commandments and staying in His will. The wages of sin is death, and God doesn’t want us to perish. He wants us to be over-comers, and we can’t be over-comers without something to overcome. Sin will take us down. But God will lift us up in His grace when we repent and turn back to Him. You’re going to get it if you want it, but just remember that there is a price to pay for sin and disobedience- we will reap what we sow. Be blessed.
