Deliverance from Temptation and Evil

 Jesus taught us through the Lord’s prayer, the importance of asking God for deliverance from temptation and evil.  It doesn’t matter how strong we are as believers, Satan will attempt to lead us into temptation to sin, so that we may die and lose the glory of God, and that he can put us into bondage.  Things may be going very good for us and suddenly, if we aren’t careful, we’re on the opposite side of things and living in distress because we start flirting with temptation and choose to disobey God and sin.  And that can be a blindside we never would have suspected.  So, it’s very important to remain cautious and humble, so that we learn to daily depend upon God for His deliverance from temptation and evil.  And hiding daily in the strong tower of the shadow of the Almighty is the only hope for us to remain alive in Christ and free of bondage and death and losing God’s glory.  So, maybe now you’re caught in a web after going so well with Christ.  Repent of letting go and take back hold of God’s truth.  Turn away from every hindrance and humbly seek God’s face and protection, because every day it is important to do this.  And let times of refreshing come upon you so that you do not fail to reignite the fire in your life of serving Christ first.  God loves you and wants to keep you safe-  don’t let the allure of a wrong path to take or turn take you down to death, pray for deliverance from temptation and evil, in Christ Jesus’ name, amen.
